At the end of Term 3, Maata, Jared and I took the Kapahaka leaders to Winnie Bagoes to say thank you for their mahi and rangitiratanga in leading the school at the cultural festival. Each child had a very distinct way of leading which added to the uniqueness of our performance. Several principals contacted us and said that for them, our children were the absolute highlight.
