Marriene Langton Principal/Tumuaki
Tēnā koutou e te whanau. This is my 16th year as tumuaki of our lovely kura. I am one-eyed when it comes to providing the very best education for all of our tamariki, strong connections to whanau and applying attachment theory so every child has a champion adult at our school who believes in them unconditionally. I just can’t see past it. Our kaiako and kaiawhina go the extra 50 miles to give our children the best chances to succeed. My family is number one. After 20 years of camping holidays in Kaiteriteri, Graham and I are recidivist “glampers “ and ready for new adventures in our latest caravan. It’s brilliant when our family joins us too.

School Disco

There's nothing like a bit of early winter shake off the blues approach as an excuse for a school disco.
Very special thanks to Cath, Belinda, Dani, Rochelle, Angie, Maata, Theresa,Joy, Chris and Nicky who worked so hard to make this happen for the children.
It's lovely to see parents dancing with their children. It is a special event just for the children enrolled at our school and something that they look forward to. We know tha tthere are lots of others who want to come too but we have to keep it special for our WSS kids.Angie Malae had a dance off with herself and a few others and I think that she may have won.
The children and adults love the fluro lights and accessories. They sure make interesting photos. Thank you everyone for another very special event.
