WSS Board of Trustees Retreat

Every year we try to spend a weekend together to review our vision, values and strategic goals. We do have a lot of laughs together and time to relax but the main reason to be together is to analyse our progress against our plans. I am sure that some would find that intimidating but for us it is a time to reflect, ask the hard questions and to plan for the next few years. Night time was the time to relax and talk.
This year we had a chance to celebrate the progress of our school over the past 5 years. I was going to say that it has been a rocky journey and that would be an in joke for those who have lived in Christchurch since Sept 2010.
Despite everything we have grown and changed so that each year our students and their whanau are getting a great education right here in the local area.
Thank you to everyone who has made this part of our journey a success. It is time for us to dream again and to think about the next generation of planning.
