Someone burnt the cakes and it wasn’t king Alfred. Hilarious start to the week and so smoothly done by everyone. Talk about an impromptu fire drill. Don’t say we never do any. We just need to remind parents and children coming into the school when the alarm is ringing that they cannot go into classrooms, even if they do want a slice of well done toast.
